I know how annoying it is not to get a straight answer or response from GT. We too have to pay 50% of our bonus over to GT however due to circumstances our outgoings exceeds our basic incomings (did an IVA to avoid that!!!) so having to use the bonus each month to pay for our budget but GT have never been clear on exactly what we should be doing regarding the situation. Their last letter merely stated that based on our I&E our payments would remain the same despite the fact our I&E clearly shows that our outgoings exceed the basic income.

I know I'm having a rant but really I'm a happy person who essentially enjoys her life and smiles lots[:D][:D][:D][:D][:D][:D][:D][:D][:D]

I also had the same question about making 50% overtime payments with GT, I was given the option of either sending a cheque or making an electronic payment ( pay by standing order anyway) so it was quite straight forward to make a single payment with internet banking as I had all the banking details anyway.

Hi
This is where the industry lets itself down.
I wonder how many IVA providers have a customer service charter,or even a customer care department ?
I don't expect IPs to reply to every query themselves but I do expect them ensure that they delegate a member of staff to reply on their behalf, unless it is a complicated matter.

I have a nominated contact, unfortunately he doesn't reply to my calls, every time I ring I get 'voice mail', he doesn't reply to e'mails either, its so frustrating[:(!][:(!][:(!]
G.T. did a superb job arranging my IVA, but ongoing IVA administration leaves a lot to be desired, communication and feedback are very poor, it becomes embarrassing after a while ringing their switchboard and repeatedly asking for the same person.
I would complain by letter but I don't want to antagonise anyone in case it has a detrimental effect on future reviews of my IVA.
IVA COMPLETED ON THE 17th MARCH, FINAL I&E COMPLETED 26th APRIL, COMPLETION CERTIFICATE ARRIVED 2nd AUGUST

I agree with Andy.

What concerns me more is the fact that debtors are trying to keep their side of the bargain whilst in the IVA, are attempting to maintain contact with their respective IP's/Supervisor's, yet feel that they cannot continue to telephone, email or write letters to them for fear of what northumbrian69 has posted.

In my opinion, the IP's who do not respond to the debtors are the ones at fault and the debtor should in no way feel intimidated by them.

I must admit that in the early days when I posted I didn't want to mention GT as i feared it may have a detrimental effect however now I am so unimpressed with them that I think maybe it is time to be honest. What gripes me is effectively we are paying them to provide a service but it does feel that they are working on the creditors side not ours.

Finally got a response from GT, I ended up emailing someone completely different who informed me that the person we were dealing with has left the department and our IP doesn't deal with the day to day administration of cases!!!

I agree with Northumbrian69 they were pretty good setting it up but its been a pretty poor show since.

Still came 2nd in our work quiz last night and got a bottle of wine! Guess what I'm drinking tonight!

Northumbrian69 If you are dissatisfied in any way you should complain in writing, any consumer facing company should welcome complaints as much as they welcome testimonials, I know we do. It gives them a chance to rectify the problem and ensure they do not make the same mistakes again.

I hope you enjoy your wine louisa
