Quite agree Skippy. It's never what's good for us, it's what good for them.

One of these days, a politician may just give a straight answer to a question............or am I living in cloud cuckoo land?

I don't agree with everything they do, but some stuff does make sense.

If they weren't so extreme I'm sure they'd be more popular.

I agree. Unfortunatley they make headlines with their extreme views and alienate a lot of voters. Yet, they seem to stand for what joe public wants too.

I've been trying to lecture my daughter today on the importance of making that vote, she's recently moved house into a new one and not received a card but have told her to register online. x

I nag my girls every time to vote! I don't think they would bother if I didn't preach, but its something I feel strongly about and could get on my soapbox [:D]

Has anyone seen today's news - Gordon Brown being serenaded by an Elvis impersonator singing The Wonder of You? He didn't seem to know what to do and looked as though he was trying his best to ignore Elvis!

How pathetic! I can't say as I blame him for trying to ignore the singer!

It was at an official Labour event, so someone obviously thought it was a good idea!

I've just seen the official Monster Raving Loony Party election song on YouTube - sadly it's quite catchy and is now going round and round my head!

It's not good that kids shrug off attempted muggings, a sign of the times I guess.

I would have a few words for the PM for sure, but I'd be respectful and would be good to meet a British PM as you say, especially if you were a kid.

I've been lucky enough to meet Alan Bennett, Nelson Mandela, The Pope (When he was a Cardinal), David Cameron and a dozen other MP's (Tory, Labour and Lib Dem).

I've always voted and can't understand people who do not, you have no right to moan if you do not vote!

I've made my mind up, always voted for one party, now I'm changing to another for the first time in my life!
