You poor thing. I can't give you any advice, but I wanted to say I'm sorry that things are so bad for you. I'm sure Melanie will be able to advise you what to do regarding your IVA x

You definitly need to speak to someone about your situation.

If your husband has taken your name off the account, do you have your own account to use? If not, I recommend opening one as soon as you can.

The sooner you and the kids can get out of there, the better.

You can apply for an IVA now - but would need to be pretty certain about what your future expenditure is likely to be. A DMP might be better to start off with until you are more settled - and at least that would remove any pressure from your creditors, as you have enough on your plate with everything else at the moment.

Hi

It sounds like you're having an awful time - I'm so sorry.

My husband has recently set up a DMP with Brightoak who have been fantastic. There are other providers and probably worth making a few enquiries to see which is the best fit for you.

Good luck

Anna

lol - I did try and get shot of mine but he came back! Let's face it, you'll never let yourself down and at least you can have an intelligent conversation with yourself :-)

I take my hat off to you, you're an amazingly strong person. I wish you the best of luck and if you really are considering a DMP, give Andrew a call at Brightoak and talk it through with him - action has the most powerful effect on worry.

I wish you the very best of luck!

Anna

I second the recommendation of Brightoak. I know that company very well and they are superb.

Well why don't you contact an insolvency practitioner, who will be able to give you advice on all options available to you and can understand your specific circumstances a little better.
