Hmm. I might look into that Jan. I think the slightly annoying thing is, that when I was going through the proposal stage I was always given the name of somebody to contact but now it just seems to be customer services and we all know that can be a bit hit and miss at the best of times
Yes feel a bit anxious now, I have emailed because at least you have written confirmation about what has been said. The lady on the phone the other day completely confused me and she kept saying bear with me whilst I check, this did not give me much re-assurance. It was all going so well until this review now I don't know what is going off! I have sent an email to GT but asked them to refer it to my IP direct so he can look back at my case etc. Will wait and see who gets a reply first!!!
Tracey.
Try not to get too worked up about it. The fact that you say she had to check suggests to me that she wasn't altogether sure she had given you the right info! Between the two of us we'll get to the bottom of it[;)]
They should not be adjusting for pension payments after taking your basic salary - this should already include the pension deduction, so your 10% allowance is based on a net salary net of pension and not with the pension added back. Sounds as if someone their end is confused.
Hmmm. So, I received a response from GT this morning in response to an email I sent 2 weeks ago, so I thought I would email this person back and ask about the 10/50/50 clause and she sent me an email back saying that my query would have to be added to their work log queue!!!!! I sincerely hope this isn't a sign of things to come!
Yup. This morning when I emailed her back I also asked her if she could confirm that they have definitely received my DD form for my payments to start in May. I guess the answer to that question has also fallen into the 'work log queue'
Not at all! I spoke personally to my very good pal - one of the GT partners involved in the recent acquisition today - and they are very much on top of things and looking forward to taking on the new cases. There may be some changes along the way to live with, but you can rest assured that the top quality service they are known for worldwide will be very much continuing. Those guys take a personal interest in making sure that their clients get the very best service - and we all have occasional slips that we may not be proud of - but at the end of the day you are with one of the best firms out there.
Absolutely. Welcome letters are in the process of being prepared as we speak, and should be out with you all soon. I think that Mark and Gareth will probably split up the appointments between them - but they are both great guys and you will get the best service regardless of which one of them acts for you. There is no real need to take IVA appointments jointly.
It would be nice if we had a representative from GT here on the forum! Certainly would help ease peoples worries especially with the changes going on at present.
Sorry just catching up, Ive been wondering whats happening with the changes as I Have not heard anything yet either Pandy.
My review information was requested by BE before we heard of this, so it has worried me slightly.
Also Ive said before my child tax credits have been reduced, but my husband has had a small pay rise, so it has balanced back out again, if you understand what I mean. So Im in libo as whom to contact & if I actually need too.
Final IVA payment made in April 2013, never ever thought we could do it or get through it but we did! X

Well. I hope they are just experiencing a few teething problems. I have tried ringing their customer services department with no answer after about 10 minutes of waiting and they still haven't replied to my emails
They will probably be shut for the bank holiday weekend now Judo. Should be back to normal by Tuesday.

The greatness of a man is not in how much wealth he acquires, but in his integrity and his ability to affect those around him positively.
