This week I make my 59th payment. 1 to go, or so I thought! When speaking to GT they informed me my last payment is due in June. Prior to the creditors meeting when the IVA was set up we made an initial cheque payment. At Xmas 2008 (I think) we were told we made a double payment when the IVA was set up and therefore we were told to make a reduced payment December 2008.
My IVA was set up in May 2006 but Grant Thornton are telling me I made my first payment in July 2006. I know this is incorrect! I am angry but also very distressed to be told I have to make an extra payment as we had booked a holiday for which we have to make payment in June. I have asked GT for a list of ll my payments and the date they were made. Over the past five years I have asked for this information twice but GT never provided it.
See if you can get hold of your bank statements to show when you made the payments and also keep pressing GT for a list of your payments.
Try speaking to your IP direct rather than a case worker, you might find that you get somewhere doing that.

Hi and welcome from myself too, I can imagine your frustration. Do persevere with this and if you can get your bank statements and highlight and copy the relevant bits I'm sure this can be solved.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
Have now found letter dated 5 December 2007 from GT telling me I had over contributed as I made a payment before the IVA was approved (as I was asked to do). The letter asked me to make a reduced payment for December. However, I am correct that I have made 59 payments so far. Can GT make me make 61 payments?
Speak to them tomorrow and insist that you are in the right and quote the letter to them. They should sort this out now.

Seems they make a habit of this! I had to dig out bank statements from 2005 to prove I made a payment on acceptance date, and emailed them a table of payments to show I had made 60 payments. They didn't seem to understand at 1st, but I persevered, and they finally accepted my maths!
While I was committed to completing, I wasn't prepared to make more payments than the long hard 60 I knew I had made!
It should be fairly easy for them to send you this information - simply pressing a couple of buttons on their accounting system and popping the statement in the post to you. Give them another chase and tell them how worried you are about the completion - I am sure this will do the trick.
Grant Thornton have now provided a schedule of payments. I made my first payment by cheque 01/06/06, IVA accepted 22/06/06. First standing order payment 31/07/06. Schedule shows 59 payments but I made another payment 28/04/11 making 60 payments. 1 payment 28/12/07 was a reduced payment because they said I paid twice 31/07/06, but they didn't refund the double payment. So, May will be my 61 payment but they are saying my last payment is 28 June! I have emailed them and pointed out their arithmetical error and explained May payment should be the final payment minus the reduced payment made 28/12/07. I have all my statements as evidence of this but they have not responded as yet. I have never missed a payment and have repaid 77K. Frankly I am staggered that they have made this error, and even worse, they don't seem able to understand simple mathmatical logic!
Sounds like you are right - but do bear in mind that the odd few errors happen in all firms. I am sure that they will very soon agree your figures and then you can decided how to spend your new found fortune moving forward.
Reading the above has me a little concerned as Grant Thornton have recently taken ownership of my IVA. I have one payment to go (July) and this was confirmed with my previous IP at BE. However, I can't get confirmation from Grant Thornton. What can I do if they try to take further payments from me? I'm cancelling my standing order as soon as the payment comes out, but will this effect the outcome of my IVA?
Hi Mark - do you have statements that show your 1st payment? I'm sure it will all be ok - don't panic until you need to. It's probably that they are still sorting out the IVA's they inherited - it doesn't necessarily mean there will be a problem. Think positive thoughts - you are so close now you must be feeling great!! Well done
-On 60th month and just have made my final payment.
-Have been told to make another payment but I never missed one.
-My IP doesn't want to talk to me (never ever) but wants me to make another payment.
-Asked to provide details of all the payments few months ago, but nothing happened but they want me to make another payment.
-I've been tranfered (sold by BE) to GT.

Hi Mark,
I cancelled my DD - if GT needs another payment the have to send me receipt for all the payments and need my IP speaking to me.
