.....Our IVA has been accepted.

No real modifications, just a letter to grant thornton, and to make sure all creditors get 65p in the £, which they were getting anyway.

First payment on 28th!

HFC and GE money voted yes

and Lloyds TSB, Barclaycard, Barclays, Additions didnt vote at all.

Its a great worry off our minds, so thanks to everyone for all your support and advice over the last three months. And Good Luck to all, whatever path you have decided to follow [;^)]

HUGE SIGH OF RELIEF! XX
IVA in 2007 - failed in 2008.

Hi
That's great news for you bet you are well pleased and releived. I am in the very early stages of trying to sort out my debts and have been referred to Grant Thornton by the CCCS and have to gather more information for them before my 2nd telephone appt. I imagine you would recommend them.

p.s. bet you will get a good night's sleep 2night!!!

Excellent news !!!!What a relief for you.

Our creditors meeting is 19th Feb the great thing is that I don't worry anymore about the letters and phone calls.
Now we have started the process there is no turning back and as we are in rented accommodation and no assets if it doesn't work out then we will go for bankruptcy.

We had contacted a few debt solutions but none wanted to take us on. Contacted another on 20th Dec and as I say creditors meeting is 20th Feb.
The firm we are with have been brilliant.

Also good to hear the GE money were one of your creditors. We need RBS and Nationwide to vote yes !!!!

Signed ........ Nervous until 19th
