Thank you all for your good wishes, I've just mailed Melanie and hope that I can sort something out. Feeling a little better now.

Been to daughters and sorted what washing was in the washer! Luckily no school next week so uniform for daughter won't be a priority. Could at a push go to daughters but don't like to put on her, she's got enough with two young children. x

I have heard back from Melanie already and it is ok to purchase a new washing machine. I am sat here in tears, not upset now, tears of relief, I was just saying to my husband and Kerri as talking to her on MSN, I am so happy Melanie is my IP, a proper human being who replies to my e-mail by return and I mean by return. One day I will get caught up with this IVA and promise if I ever come into money post IVA I will treat Melanie for her kindness x

LesleyDont feel bad, I know its easy to feel down and beaten but that doesnt mean youre a failure, it just means that life can be a bitch sometimes.  Believe me I know one of the worst things in life is the washer giving up, I cant manage without mine either.  Its kind of on a par with the end of the world, right?  But stay strong, you will get through it all, with a tear or two perhaps but your run of bad luck cant last for 5 years. Get a lottery ticket on Saturday, you never know......

Its easy to feel all alone in your world, I did in mine when my beloved washer did the dirty on me, youre not though, everyone on here is rooting for you and your doggy. Things will get better soon.

Thanks, Melanie is a start, let's hope we can get the missed payment paid back as soon as and maybe build up some contingency....shhh said that in whisper as I don't want to tempt fate.

I'm really pleased your able to get this sorted out Lesley. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the rest of your appliances live to at least a year after the end of your IVA
