10 months for closure and last 6 weeks have been "waiting for cheques to be written" :(

I have asked how to complain and been fobbed off

I have emailed my original IP and no reply

I have emailed the Closure team and still no straight answer or sign of someone being proactive! nothing!

I have been chasing since july when they said a creditor (whom i didnt have a debt with!!!) was holding it up! my final payment was in april and there is just no sign of the end!

Sorry to hear of the troubles your having , have you contacted Karol @ GT? she seems to work wonders in getting things done when other posters have failed, have you emailed/called your IP directly?

Hi,

I have sent emails with IVA forum in the title and emailed my IP Direct and still nothing :( I am awaiting Heart surgery and just want this stress gone :(

it just seems they sit on your money for interest. I did an early settlement as I got so ill but in some ways the stress is worse as you are left waiting! there is no aftercare what so ever :(

I think this is definately one for Karol to pick up, to avoid a regulatory complaint. At least the internal complaints system at GT ought to be functioning on a timely basis. Am sure she will be able to intervene successfully for you.

Must be very frustrating, I hope Karol picks up on this to be able to step in and help.

Dear Oh Dear GT your not helping yourself these days.

Angelbear, this is just an idea, throwing one out there you never know what may happen, you could always send a mail to GT PR dept and tell them what you are trying to do, no reply and your illness and that you are now going public and do they have any comment to make before you go public? Even perhaps give them a call? It is their UK HQ but it might get someone making a call and asking them to sort their house out before they get bad press which marks UK GT as a whole.

I found this on their web pages:
Wendy Watherston, Head of PR

SORRY NO EMAIL/NUMBERS ALLOWED ADMIN

I really hope we don't see (including me writing a post) screaming for GT to end people's misery for much longer.

I'm a few months away from finishing & it's filling me with dread, hope this is sorted quickly & efficiently x
Final IVA payment made in April 2013, never ever thought we could do it or get through it but we did! X

All we need is some honesty! If it will take a year they should just say none of this ignorance and lies :(

Yes - he does really exist and is a very nice chap. Have you asked to speak with him yet, and if this has been denied what reasons were given?
