So long as they can cope with the numbers Geoffr, they can get as busy as they like.

And just for the record, it is completely unacceptable for DMP fees to be higher than those charged in IVAs. The DRF and other bodies will be addressing this shortly with all main creditor bodies - particularly following our inability to claim back input VAT on our overheads.

On the face of it Foggy, this is bad news for the existing “clients” of Grant Thornton and RSM Tenon!

I genuinely hope that this does not worsen their plight!
7 years after starting an IVA I finally received a completion certificate from ClearDebt

I agree Heretoday ... Let's hope (though I doubt it) that GT have learnt from past experience and either resource to cope, or, better still, retain the Manchester Tenon staff to continue with ex RSM caseloads.

They appear to be struggling coping with their existing book with closing down existing IVAs, given the number of posts on here about completion certs and how long it takes to get them.

How can they cope with taking on more work?
We're willing to wipe the slate clean, give you a fresh start. All that we're asking in return is your cooperation.

Here's a thought if this take over does go ahead what happens if gt hold a debt within your IVA? one of our debts was sold to gt and they voted against an IVA, does this not put them in rather a difficult position or does it not matter that they will be both a creditor and supervisor of IVA?

It's different arms of the company 4kids, should be no conflict (except maybe a bun fight in the offices).

And in what other industry would that be allowed?

This is really bad news for us as RSM Tenon clients.
I'd like to put a positive spin on it, but there isnt one.

Actually Foggy, I've found one.

They won't have to hire a van to move the files, given that both companies have their offices on York Street, Manchester.

They can maybe make them into paper aeroplanes and fly them across from window to window.

Other than that, it's terrible news.

I know 4kids .. I know

I am not at all happy either, as I said before, I specifically rejected GT as a provider in the first place!
