Hi all,

Well I had the most fanatastic 40th Birthday...hubby took me to The Mumbles for a 2night stay in a 5* boutique hotel. Still don't know what a boutique hotel is tho [:D] The sun actually came out and it was gorgeous. We sat on the patio area on the seafront and people watched till early hours ( nosey or what). We had a lovely time and it did us both the world of good. If anyone ever gets the chance to visit Wales please take in The Mumbles..its not far from where I live but to be able to stay a couple of nights made a big difference. Came home and watched the footie on Saturday ( Swansea won)! Then had lots to drink...again. I also had fab new laptop and lots of other goodies from my family & friends, so I was one spoilt lady...for a few days.

oh well back to work tomorrow..

That part of the world has the most fantastic coastline, and in my student days we used to do the "Mumbles Mile" which had about 25 pubs from memory and you had to have a drink in each one!
