Oh dear very sorry to hear this - Contact your IP and inform them of what's happened asap.
Also with regard to your OH employer I suggest you contact their personal section to find out why then if not satisfied go to the CAB and get their advice or a solicitor that offers free initial advice.

Please try not to worry it will get sorted.

Good Luck

As a general rule IVA proposals have a clause in them that states that the first payment should be received within 30 days. Have a look at your proposal to see if the same clause is in yours.

In addition, are you sure that you haven't built up a fund with GP in your DMP that will be paid over to your Supervisor and will acy as a credit against future contributions?

And finally, I'm no banking expert but I don't think that your employer had the right to recall money like that. Mind you its a bit academic if they really were owed the money but as 99% of people are paid in arrears that wouldn't normally be the case.

Hi Tiny speak to fj and ask them when the first payment is to go. I was told as catallus says within thrty days but you can arrange the date with them so give them a ring and tell them the situation. What a pain dont worry though, but sort out the date with them.

Hi Tinytori
Why has a DMP payment gone out of your account after your IVA was accepted ?

No - The DMP payment needs to be refunded or transferred across to the IVA account. They should not have been taking DMP payments when you were so close to getting an IVA accepted.

I would definately ring them as if your iva came into effect yesterday then the payment should be returned or put to the iva as first payment or part of and hopefully that would be a help with the other problem.
