I banked with Halifax and had a loan with them. Although my account is frozen, there is a letter stating it has gone to collections. I am ringing them in the morning but I can't sleep thinking about it. The letter is dated 05/12/18 so I'm hoping nothing will happen. Ahh

It's early days and the right hand doesn't yet know what the left hand is doing --- it often takes a few months for news of an IVA to filter through all departments.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

Are you in an IVA?

This is standard process - the balance will be transferred to collections instead of your normal local bank team.
