Thanks everyone.

Not a bad day, even though I was at work!

Had one or two tonight as daughter and fiance were across and it was a very enjoyable evening.

At work yesterday morning and then I booked half a day so hubby and I did the Christmas booze shopping (with all of my Tesco Vouchers and Nectar points gained from shopping and surveys).

Absolute bargain in Tesco - bought a bottle of Sambucca and when I got home to scan the barcodes, I realised that they hadn't charged me for it!

Thank you Tesco!

Glad you got it free Jan, but I've no idea how you can drink the stuff, it's revolting!

I couldn't drink it even if it was free! I remember going for an Indian meal years ago and they gave us all a flaming Sambucca - I wouldn't touch it until someone put it out, and I gave it to someone else as smelt and tasted so revolting!

Hey, that's alright Jan, getting a freebie bottle of Sambucca.[;)]....That brings back memories of a few years back!...A gang of us had gone out on a pub crawl to celebrate a friends birthday..Well, as you can imagine we were all very sozzled after knocking back a few drinks and shots..Then this one pub was selling Sambucca at £1 a shot, so a couple of them had a contest to see who could knock it back the quickest!!..But the one guy didn't realise that you had to blow it out first and singed one of his eyebrows![:D].could have been much worse I suppose and he certainly sobered up a bit afterwards..[:o)]

Do you drink any alcohol Skippy? I don't and can't abide even the smell....I always thought I was alone on this one!
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

I don't think Skippy does drink now, although she has in the past.

I do like a drink, but I don't go stupid with it.
