I'd have been happy with the church hall, but my uncle loves going to the theatre! He took us all out before Christmas and I think he's planning the next outing now! Hopefully it won't be the Blues Brothers again - he likes it but the rest of us don't!

I love my little godson, but to be honest I've never wanted children myself. Most of my friends have got children so I spoil them - I go and visit and leave when the headache kicks in!

I hope you have a lovely time with your family tonight Lesley, and happy New Year xxx

I love panto - and me and seven of my best girlfriends go every year. We always go on the last night, as by that stage the cast just really want to mess around and get drunk and it is more slapstick than usual. A great British tradition, and one which I will definately be continuing to support!

Happy New Year!! We had a lovely evening, just the 2 of us as hubby wwas up and out by 6am this morning. He cooked the most fab meal and it was all romantic [:I] New Years eve was the night of our first date so is special for us.[:I][:I]

On the pantomime topic, I absolutely love going...my mum always took me and I took my girls. Now I'm taking the granddaughters! We saw Cinderella, Sue Pollard was in it and we all laughed all way through. The way everyone joins in and to see their little faces light up is magical.

Have a great 2009 everyone!
xx

Hi
Happy New year to all.
Spent four hours in casualty yesterday with my dear old father in law, he had a fall and now looks like he's been ten rounds with Mike Tyson !!
Let's hope 2009 is a good one for us all
Regards
Andam Davies

Casualty on NYE!!! I dont envy u on that at all. My best friend is an A&e sister and at this time of yr I dont see too much of her as after each shift the poor girl just wants to sleep! I took my neice to her first panto this yr , we dressed her in her snow white outfit and watchin her little face all the way thru was definately worth it. It had Jonathon Wilkes in so least I had somethin nice to look at!!!!
Happy new yr all xx

Sorry to hear that Andy. I hope he makes a full recovery.
