I had a phone call from EIC yesterday going through all the info with us, took approx 30 mins.
That was the first contact since we received our spotty letter weeks ago.

Same here...took around half an hour. Repetitive but it's done now.

Following on from this, when they took my details I told them I hadn't had PPI on my stuff (which I didn't) and they said they wouldn't even look at that then, but hubby did have it on his, so we went through everything of his, probably about 10 different items possibly a few more as it was on 3 credit cards, multiple loans, catalogue accounts.
This morning we have received in the post one letter from Lloyds TSB with a questionnaire for him to fill in but it does not say which thing it is for, and they want dates, etc which we dont know. It also states on it that we have to fill it in even if a 3rd party is claiming for us. Seems to me that EIC are getting a lot of money for the banks to ignore them and make us do the work.
Think I know what I will do for work if I ever lose my job, seems like money for nothing for EIC [:D]

I had the same 'issue' with Lloyds Bank Peejayel. I informed Claims Broker, who were dealing with PPI on GT's behalf, that I had no intention of complying with Lloyds request to fill out extra paper work unless they released this claim from any commission payment they may expect. They were left in no doubt that I was not going to do all the leg work and have no reward while they picked up 30% for doing nothing. I have heard nothing back from either Lloyds or Claims Broker.
Last Payment made 04/12/14. Completion Certificate 25/7/15. IVA company GT. No Issues

Hubby took one look and said that was my department and he would leave it for me to fill in LOL.
I have looked through it and it doesn't seem to difficult just I dont know which loan or credit card it is referring to or is it for all of them. Might just fill in the bits we know and leave the rest blank.
Does seem a little strange that we end up doing it but I dont want them to say we are not co operating etc and fail us
