She and her partner have been in a joint IVA for 3 years. She has become disabled due to illness and may not be able to continue working. She would like to know if the IVA payment can be reduced if this happens.

Hi,

The person in the IVA needs to speak to her IP and explain the situation to see if she can do a variation in the payments.

In these circumstances you need to speak to your Supervisor (IP) to establish whether a variation can be proposed to that persons creditors to vary the monthly contribution or make any other suggestion that creditors might accept.
