Hi

I have received a letter today from IVA Helpline UK. The whole letter is in red text first questions asks if I am struggling to keep up my monthly IVA payment (which I am not).

They are based in Poole, Dorset. Obviously another company trying to get business through the Insolvency Register.

Good job it is bin day tomorrow!

We get a letter like this from a different company every month it seems! All they want is to persuade you to go bankrupt and pay them huge fees for the privilege - its a disgrace that they are allowed to contact us in this way. [:(!]

Hi
It must be the same company popping up with a different name. They can only help you by going down the bankruptcy route, you can't change IVA providers when in an IVA and no one other than your IP can reduce payments

Another one popping up in Dorset! What is it about Dorset and these hideous companies who promise the earth, without being able to deliver?

A new one on me as well - I look forward to receiving my letter from them!

They all come from Dorset as well.

We're wise to them and can offer advice to other posters but I just wonder how many more innocent people slowly paying off their IVA possily happily get caught in their trap ? I've not had a letter in ages so wonder if it's my turn again soon. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Once again, another example of the nastiness that exists with these companies. Size5 is collecting examples of what these companies are sending to people for future action against them so I would advise you to send him a copy of what they sent.

Thanks

Hi
Cant thank everyone enough for their input on the company.
I have been with DFD since the initial telephone call beginning of January 2009 and then when it became official in April 2009. I have always found them to be extremely helpful and always there on the other end of the phone. I have no issues with them. We ended up with an IVA due to my husbands's previous partner who done the dirty on him - spent the company funds - went bankrupt then left us to pick up the pieces. I still feel so angry with him but DFD guided down the right path thank goodness

Have to say I agree Marie - we are with DFD and they have always been spot on with us too. Good luck with the rest of your journey and in the meantime borrow a shredder for these letters or send them to Size5 :o)

I don't know about everyone else, but I actually felt that my husband and I were the only one going through an IVA - I didnt' know this forum existed. It nice to speak to people who are in the same position. Its also nice to know that other people are dealing or have dealt with DFD and are happy
