I am not having the best of days today:

Firstly, I find out my case manager has left the firm my IVA is with. Part of the reason I went with that particular firm was because I was comfortable with the person I was dealing with. Now I have a total stranger looking after my case.

Secondly, my washing machine seems to have conked out on me, just 2 weeks after the 12 month warranty ran out. I either have to get a new one or get it repaired (don't know the damage yet)

Thirdly, I am having an ongoing saga with Npower over a couple of direct debits I have been dealing with. They say I owe them £400 when I have only missed two direct debits (which I have now paid), but they won't put me back onto direct debit.

I know my first point is a fact of life, and I will have to cope with it, but can I do anything about points 2 and 3?

I just feel like screaming, kicking and punching something - if only it would do some good! [B)][:(][:0][:(!][xx(][|)][V][?]

Sorry to hear that you're having a bad day Chris.

It might be worth contacting the manufacturer of your washing machine as warranties don't always count for much - the item has to last for a reasonable amount of time and depending on how old it is it you might be able to get something out of them as goodwill.

Sorry I can't help with the other points, but have you written threatened NPower with their regulatory body?

Thanks Skippy! Just feeling down and wanted to let all my feelings out! As it happens, I'm off to make an appointment to see someone at the citizens advice bureau about my divorce that my ex has "kindly" left in my hands, even though she was the one who left me! (that can be point 4 for today!) I don't see why I should have to pay the money (or even half of it) for the divorce to be completely honest. I will ask the CAB for their opinions on it all while I'm there!
