Thanks Chris for your kind words and I will email you later when kids are tucked up in bed, lol.

I have spoken to Payplan and she advised that BR would be the best option given the cicrcumstances and they will go ahead and fail my IVA.

I have booked the court date, the big day is Friday 17 October - first available date!!

Thanks again.

I do have a number plate, valued in IVA at £300, would this be taken to pay creditors or could be be brought back. Also I have a number plate in my name of a certificate which my mom bought for my daughter 7 years ago as an investment (what would happen to this). This has a value currently of around £400.

Thanks again.

If you declare the number plates to the OR they are very likely to be taken and sold. Is there anyone who could buy them for you?

Hi Melanie, you say IF i declare them, I thought you had to declare everything. My number plate is on my car so would have no option, my mom would probably help me out with that. But the one on the cert - are you saying if I didnt declare they wouldnt find out (do they not do searches - havent a clue what search they would find it on)

Thanks for your help
regards
NME x

You do have to declare all of your assets - hope my post did not indicate that I suggested you do otherwise. The OR will run a DVLA check on your name, so they would likely find these assets in any case.

just another question, off to court on the 17th oct , how long after is the OR meeting/call, as i have had a holiday booked for ages going on the 24th-31st in my auntie caravan free of charge of course lol. wandering whether this would be frowned upon, but it will be half term?
any advice would be great.

thanks again

Hey no money eva, I believe it can be anything from a couple of days to a couple of weeks after. I can't see it being a problem if you tell the OR that you will be away for those dates although maybe you should wait for someone who knows more than me. I'll bump you back up. X

I went BR on 29th March, spoke to the OR on 30th and had my interview on 10th April last year. I think it depends on how busy your OR's office is though - sorry that's a bit vague!

Will the OR cancel your mobile phone contract and you have to use Pay as you go. The contract I have now is with 02 and means I pay nothing until April 2009 when my contract ends, as I didnt upgrade my phone etc.

Read on someone elses post that they do this is this everyones experience?
thanks in advance
