Hello again from NED-CAB and thank you all for the warm and professional welcome.
Fair comment Ray, there are real problems with waiting lists and NED-CAB is no different, however this is mainly due to the overwhelming number of enquiries we receive.
We have a dedicated team of experienced Debt Caseworkers supported by some fantastic volunteers who give up their time for free but we are still struggling to cope.
To anyone who understands the nature of Citizens Advice Bureau and how they are funded it will take no further explaining here.
We have attempted to combat the problem by using our years of experience in designing our own debt section on the NED-CAB website (
www.ned-cab.org.uk). The feedback from our clients to date has been very positive with us hoping to develop it further. You may wish to take a look and perhaps let us know what you think.

Hello Andy and thanks for the welcome, we wish to say that we acknowledge there are experts in specialist fields on this website who no doubt can offer answers to any questions that we or our clients may have.

Melanie, again thanks for the welcome. Just to say we have been reading some of your posts with particular interest of late and have been quite impressed and also look forward to many interesting forum discussions over the coming months.
Here is some information on charitable trusts who may give grants for bankruptcy fees and other financial help which we hope will be of some assistance (You will usually need the assistance of an experienced money adviser to apply).
