Hello, I made a full and final payment on my IVA in July,I still havnt recieived a cert of completion,I've spoken to Payplan and they seem to be dragging there heels and telling me its something to do with VAT?? I paid it off early so I can try and improve my credit rating,I need the cert ASAP,can I do this through a solicitor? I was only meant to be paying until this November, now I feel like I've been ripped off!!

What can I do?

Im afraid you'll just have to hang on. I'm sure, in the fullness of time, you will get it. But I believe, that recently Payplan have amended the criteria on issuing CCs regardless of PPI and VAT issues. Perhaps someone on here can jiggle their memory banks

We're waiting on Gemma to confirm if they have started to issue certificates again.

Hi,

I'm afraid you are going to have to wait and a solicitor isn't going to be able to help you get it any quicker.

Hope it comes soon. Your credit rating is effected for 6 years from the start of your iva though

Agree. You're credit rating will be affected for the full six years regardless of the fact that you paid it off early.

I think there is definitely movement as a payment was added to my Payplan account earlier last week. I made my last payment in April so I'm assuming this is the VAT refund being applied. Well I'm hoping so.

Hi basketman. Welcome to the forum. I too made a F&F in July, and am still waiting. Like Sebastian29, I've had monies added to my account - only £53.00 though, and it doesn't say what it's for, but at least it shows some movement. We can now only hope for a speedy end to this process.x

So feb 2013 will be 6 years from the start,I was hoping to get my cert and everything finalised otherwise it will go on my record for another year?

Basically I started my full and final payment offer nov 2011, it took them until July 2012 for them to accept my offer, which I paid, and my IVA was going to finish in nov 2012 anyway,in hindsight is should have just let it run until November as it seems to have made no difference to the conclusion as far as I can see!
