Dear lilaclady2k

I have reviewed your account and we have not yet received the offer letter. I will check your cases details again tomorrow morning and contact you with an update.

Many Thanks

With the best will in the world shouldn't dfd be a lot more proactive? This has been going on for over 3 months and all that seems to come across is that dfd really doesn't know what it is doing except try and manage a situation very badly.
IVA started March 2011, Completed March 2016 and certificate issued 11 days after final payment. It was not always easy but then some of the best decisions aren't.

I'm so stressed out about it all I'm having trouble concentrating at work.

My heads buzzing and I could sit and cry. I wish my hubby was here he would know what to do!

I was with my friend when she posted the letter at work. It's the same post box I have used to send correspondence to dfd.

Do you have a copy of the letter ? If so, I would send a further copy by recorded delivery and, as a belt and braces move, scan it and send by email.

As Lifenoteasy says DFD should be being more proactive here.

I really feel for you. This is an awful situation to be in.

Yes I have a copy but I'm working till 6.30pm tonight so I've missed today's post and I've got the same tomorrow.

I will chase my friend and ask for her help again and to resend recorded this time.

I think dfd should stop and look at how many people have read this post...it's not very good publicity wise!

Send a copy via email as well and ask for a receipt.

My friend has just spoken to a gentleman at dfd who has confirmed they are in receipt of her letter.

Obviously due to confidentiality he could say no more.

But maybe someone is shining down on me.
(Big sigh of relief) x

Update

Voice message received today from dfd to say they are in receipt of some correspondence.

They will be in touch with me shortly.
Hopefully shortly won't take to long!

Morning everyone X

Just bumping me up so hopefully Laura will see my post and see I'm still waiting for her/DFD to contact and update me on my situation[:I]

I know there are other people that need help too but I'm worried I will loose the help my friend has offered me, in loaning me the money to pay the full and final settlement.

It's making me really depressed now, the doctor has recommended I take anti depressants but I'm worried they will get additive! I'm having trouble sleeping and when I am at work I'm not supposed to have my phone on me, so I'm sneaking this in when I can, so I can keep checking my emails. But I'm getting stressed I may get caught and I can't afford to be in trouble or dismissed but I can hardly explain the reasons why I need my phone with me can I?

Does anyone think this is worth making a proper complaint and if so, can anyone explain to me,how do I escalate this to a proper complaint?

Thank you lifenoteasy.

I appreciate the support I get from here on the forum and to be honest I don't know where I would be without you all.

Thank you x
