That sounds positive - good luck.

I'm not around now until this time next week but let me know if I can do anything to help.
IVA started March 2011, Completed March 2016 and certificate issued 11 days after final payment. It was not always easy but then some of the best decisions aren't.

At least it sounds like some progress has now been made. Very annoying you have had to go through all this to get there. Best of luck with it.

Update...

I have received an email today from DFD regarding the letter they have drafted regarding my f & f settlement.

I've read it it and it reads ok to me, so fingers crossed, I've signed it and will send back in the morning recorded delivery.

P.s. Spoke to a very helpful young lady today from DFD, nothing appeared to much trouble.

Let's hope it all goes through and my C of C comes through
at a reasonable rate.

To be fair to DFD in order for the to establish that you can't afford to make any more payments now that your circumstances have changed they do need to see a revised I&E.

If you can take the time to fill it in and send it back to them and it indicates you don't have any disposable income for contributions going forward this will support a variaiton request to accept payments to date in F&F.

I wouldn't go down the lump sum route unless its a last resort and as you can't afford the contributions this wouldn't be fair to the third party either because I would like to think creditors would be sensible and sympathetic in realising you can't afford anything.

Morning Lisa thank you for your reply...I've already had an I&E and it was suggested a pay a certain amount. In order to move on with my life (the best i can) I timesed it by 12 and made them an offer. (My friend has kindly offered to loan me this money and I repay her back).

Anyway update...
I've received a letter from dfd telling me my documents have been circulated to creditors for my variation meeting, which will be held at my supervisors office on the 11th May @ 10am.

Got everything crossed now [:I]

Not long now till my meeting on Wednesday, feeling nervous!!

Today I've received two letters for my late husband from PCO Holdco S.a.r.l re Black Horse Limited.
Although I have previously written to them as well as sending the death certificate, informing them of my husbands passing. And I suggested they contact DFD for clarification. I'm confused why I should be getting these letters, it says refer to your insolvency Practitioner. But I thought these credit cards/loan was in our debt to which DFD sorted?
