Brilliant!
IVA started March 2011, Completed March 2016 and certificate issued 11 days after final payment. It was not always easy but then some of the best decisions aren't.

Great news - ask DFD to confirm they have removed the restriction on the property.

Now you can begin to move on. It will take time and you will have bumps along the way but you will get there in the end.

My letter is safely filed,

I will email dfd later to see if they have removed the restriction from the property unless Laura picks up on this (because I'm currently at work)

I want to say a big thank you too to lifenoteasy for taking the time to post the letters etc.. much appreciated.

Good life lines here, well done to all and thank you to all who helped and supported me ((hug's))

Good evening everyone

I'm like a bad penny returning for advice so apologies before I start.

I've just got in from work to find a letter from Capital One regarding the late Mr....( my hubby)

It starts off to dear reps of the late Mr..

We have now received the required information concerning the late Mr.... account.

We are writing to let you know that the outstanding balance on the late Mr .... account is £1645.78. No further interest or default sums applied to this account.

Please advise how the balance of the late Mr ...is being dealt with in order for us to agree repayment of this balance.

They also ask me to cut up and dispose of any Capital One credit cards....,?????

This credit card is in the iva agreement on the 7/10/2010 so as far as I'm concerned this was all dealt with in full and final settlement, last month??? So why are they asking me for the balance now?

The letter is from Andy Orton, Director of Recoveries.

I'm a bit confused here guys because I thought I was all sorted now.

I'm trying to move on with my life, I've had a recent bereavement of my father and this added stress is not helping...any ideas please what my next move is?

Laura can you please look into this for me please?

Its a case of departments not speaking to one and another. You are fully covered by the iva - i would ask them in writing to re-direct all enquiries to your IP and provide them with the dates of the iva and if possible copy of completion cert. You have nothing to worry over xx
