...so my very first post on this fantastic site! I started my IVA at the beginning of January but have been visiting the site for a while. I think it is absolutely brilliant to have quite literally a forum where "all of us" can support one another and not feel quite so isolated, ashamed, frightened, completely stressed etc at whatever stage we may be at on our individual "journeys"......I would say that I am just beginning to get used to the "new" way of things since my IVA was approved - it hasn't been and isn't easy....BUT, to be completely free from all the horrendous letters, phone calls and sleepless nights is somehting that no price can be put upon! The stress really can be completely overwhelming and I just feel so much for all those people who are right now wrestling with the initial stages of their various agreements etc......HANG ON IN THERE.....it WILL all work out and believe me you are NOT ALONE.......I have a feeling that by this time next year, there will be a great many more people from ALL walks of life, situations etc who will be joining us! [:)]

Hello Octavia and welcome to the Forum.

It is great to have somewhere you can let off steam, and also find out answers to questions you may be worried about, particularly if you can't talk to friends or relatives.

I have made my first payment today, and although it is a long road ahead, someone has finally switched the light on at the end

Hi Octavia and welcome to the forum,
Your words are so true and I'm sure your experiences will be valuable to the forum.
