Hi there. First time poster here, at the 11th hour (literally). Really wish I had discovered this forum earlier.... but too late now... creditors meeting is in just over an hour ( and I am bricking it!).

Basically got into this mess through a combination of awkward employer and stupidity. A few years ago I was "promoted", with a 6 grand a year payrise. After getting the usual congratulatory letter and a start date for the new position I stupidly increased my borrowing ( well within the affordability of the new job).Five weeks later and the day before I was due to start my employer reneged !!!![B)]

However, all was not lost. The post I was already in was due to have a 7 grand increase this year, (under the current pay agreement) so I thought I could "limp" along until then. ..... Guess what ? New Coalition comes in -- freezes everybody's pay and I don't get this pay increase either !!! [:(!] So, am forced to admit defeat and go for IVA.[:(]

Fingers crossed, hey [:D]
