If you have decided that an IVA is the right course of action for you and your circumstances after taking advice then stick with it, it really is individual. If your debts level is low or you have too few creditors it may be worth a try approaching the creditors yourself but it sounds like you are already at the proposal stage. I am sure one of the experts who are aware of your circumstances will be able to advise better.
