I know how you feel. so embarassed at work when they mention nights out etc. they must be so fed up with me saying i cannot afford it but they have no idea of my debts and too ashamed to tell them
Hi Jackie
the thing is about all the nights out people arrange at work etc is that they are probably funding them through credit cards etc whereas you're dealing with your debt, they may still have to face up to theirs.
everyone here knows exactly how you feel and will support and help you whenever you need it.
Keep strong, it will work out
I'm lucky with work - I'm quite anti social and can't see the point in going out to see how much I can drink and whether I can be first to throw up, so I never go.
At least I have never had to try and explain why I don't go out anymore!

Jackie, for the last 10 years or so I have been travelling the world following the England football team with a couple of mates, I have recently had to tell them that I have 'retired from football' as I am bored with it, (I was so looking forward to going to Kazahkstan in June)they are asking really awkward questions and some of my excuses are top drawer, but, it is my life and i am determined to get rid of my debt, if only they knew
