That's something I would never do Paul! Hubby is the one who sorts out the meals and what we need when we go shopping.

Sausage and mash with onion gravy tonight!

I've eaten out at lunchtime courtesy of my Manager as one of our colleagues is transferring over to the main campus so that was rather nice. Off shopping a minute as we've got twins staying for the first time every tomorrow night! x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

We have a weekend on our own and I am really looking forward to it - even if I do still have the washing to do!

I save 5p, 1p and 2p and put them into change bags and every so often go to a Coinstar and change it. Usually let it get to over £20 before I do it.

I don't do online shopping - as my nearest Tesco is half a mile away, I can't justify the delivery charge. Asda is only a couple of miles away, so I prefer to visit.

We use Farmfoods rather than Iceland - they do my favourite fish fingers there!

I am too tight to use the coinstar as I dont want to pay 7% or whatever it is they charge you!! I just walk into the bank with a carrier bag full of money bags with 2p's,1p's,5p's etc etc and enjoy the look on the womans face behind the counter!!!
Discharged today the 8th feb 2012. View is much brighter now.
Continuing to rebuild our credit worthiness.

We use the coinstar once a year, but thats only for coppers. Some of the banks around here have a limit now on how much they will exchange.

I don't mind paying for Coinstar. I hate standing behind someone who is changing lots of money! I know that a lot of banks locally do put a limit on what they will accept.

I've got my 50p tin that won't be opened until its full...but I know exactly how much is in there [:D] That will be given to my daughter on her hen night and hopefully pay for a round of drinks![:D]

Seriously, it's surprising how much it all amounts upto and a great feeling when you get a treat out of the loose change.

I'm an anti social sod believe it or not! I won't be attending daughter's hen night (when they can afford to get married that is!).

Loved the film, but hen weekends just don't do it for me!

I could be on Grumpy Old Women - except I'm not famous![:D]

I'll be joining you Jan! If I get married I won't be having a hen night - maybe a few drinks with friends, but nothing else.

I'll come down and join you for a quiet drink Skip!

I've heard tales from people in the office who have done the weekends, and it makes me shudder!

You're on Jan!

Same here about the hen night stories - one of the girls at work went to one a couple of weeks ago and they had to leave 'early' (about 1.30!) as the hen had passed out in the toilets and they were 'asked to leave' by security.

My hen night (2nd time around [:I]) was fab...friends, daughters and their friends. We had a great laugh..and not too much alcohol either, we don't need it to have a good time.

Daughters hen do wll be fun..loads of laughter, especially when I spill on her past [:D] Definitely no passing out in the toilets!

It's nice that you're that close to your daughter Julie. My mum is lovely and love her to bits, but no way would I want her at my hen night as I don't think we've got a single thing in common!
