I'd feel the same about my Mum Skip [:D]..Both my girls and I are very close but on saying that we don't often go on nights out. I'm their Mum, not one of their friends and I like it that way.

I've been married twice and did not have a hen night on either occasion.

No way would I have wanted my mother out with me, and she would have felt the same!

I go all over with both my daughters and one of my sons too. I've been in a nightclub with all 3 of the eldest ones once! That was a tad weird but they didn't think so!

I'd go on their hen nights but for daughters hen night we had an Ann Summers Party! such a laugh! x

I'd hate that as well Lesley! I'm proper anti social me!

The only place I go with my daughter is bowling and the occasional quiz night, and it's been a while since we have been able to afford either!

If she wants me on her hen night/weekend, then I'm afraid she will be disappointed.

I'd do it just so mine weren't disappointed even if I didn't really like the location. But me I'm soft with them all and they know it.

I think she knows me well enough by now!

It's just my idea of hell.

I'm the same as you Lesley [:)] Although I have made daughters cringe when we're out and a boy talks to them, I'm straight into mother mode [:D]

Going back to debtfairy, have you looked at your I&E to make sure everything is accurate?

When Tash gets married H I'm sure you'll get invited to the Hen night and the whole wedding preparation is good fun and I got totally carried away with it. x

My first wedding was the whole hog - top hat and tails, white dress and veil, the lot.

The second one was a registry office do, hardly anyone there and a party the following night at our house. Honeymoon the first time, but not the second.

I will help daughter organise her wedding, but that's as far as it goes. We have tried to persuade her to have it abroad, but I doubt that will happen.

It'll be a registry office for me (if it happens) with a reception afterwards - nothing too flash though!

Smoked salmon I love, but you could stick the caviar anyway! Never tried it and never wanted to.

The closest I get to fish eggs is roe from the chippy!
