I've spent the morning sorting out my clothes and finally admitting there are some I am never going to fit into again. There are even some dresses wuth tags on, that I don't know what I was thinking when I bought them!![:D]
Anyway, thought I'd try selling on ebay, I've bought on there a few times so am a registered user. I've registered to sell but when I click sell an item it just tells me I'm already a registered user...can anyone help please?
If your logged in... in 'my ebay' and you click 'sell' it will take you through a series of options to sell your items and then to upload pictures etc.
Julie, sign in then, go to "my ebay" click "sell" in top right put in your item and then "start selling", then you will have your options. You can have my email too if you need a hand. X
We have exactly the same problem Julie, I think it's because a long time ago we bought an item using PayPal and this was linked to a credit card. For obvious reasons we don't want to buy and sell using this account.
We have been trying to sell something recently and get the same message as you, although there is a contact number to ring on the message. We have tried to re-register with a different user name but the account is linked to our e-mail address, will be interested to see if Steve gets you sorted.
Have you tried changing your Paypal details BOT? I used to have my credit card linked to my Paypal account and I've not changed it to my new bank account and debit card. I sold some bits last week and I've listed more today so it seems to be working.
I use a site called 'Auctiva' to list my items for sale. It's free and you compose your listings and it transfers them to ebay. It allows 16(I think) free photos on the listing, ebay charge when you add more than 1. It's as easy to use as ebay is and when you register it takes you through step by step and their are tutorials on there.
Julie I've tried dieting into the clothes - it's never worked for me![:D]
Chris, I use Auctiva as well. It's a really good tool.
It's very rare I put more than one picture on anyway.

Auctiva is pretty good...there are loads of similar sites you can use if you don't get on with it (some people hate it), and they have many features such as free scheduling and pictures, nice looking ebay templates etc.
UPDATE: Just managed to set up a PayPal account using our current account, had to use a new e-mail address to do this but at least it's got the ball rolling [:D]
