You need to do it asap. Your meeting is set for 2 days time, so you need to tell them now and give Melanie a ring.

dee, I really feel for you, you are having an awful time.

It may be even more stressful at the moment, but in the long term I think you will be better changing while you can.

As Skippy says, 5 years is a long time and you don't want to be having to deal with her for that time.

She sounds as though she would be better working for one of these creditor call centres rather than trying to help someone!

I would say asap, but depends if you think she is going to phone you and cause problems at work.

You do need to get it sorted though.

I would do it ASAP. If she phones you at work politely inform her that you can't speak to her then, would she please either email you or phone you after work.

BTW, Rotties are lovely, so don't insult a whole breed!

Light the blue touch paper and retire!!!!!!!!!!!!![:D]

Be interesting to see what happens now!

I would give Melanie's office a ring as well and talk to them when you are able to.

I'm not with Melanie myself - I found this site too late, otherwise I would have used her.

A lot of firms ask you to pay one months money up front, and don't make any payments to your creditors. That way you can build up a bit of a contingency fund.

I hope it all gets sorted for you Dee - I wish I had heard of Melanie's company when I started the road to an IVA. Why don't you call Melanie's office and see what they say, especially as your meeting has been set up for this Friday.

I wish I had heard of Melanie before I went into my short lived IVA. I would definitely recommend calling her.
