Hi
Good advice from other members.
Black horse can be anti IVA so a DMP short term will give you time to think.
Remember the SIVA is coming into force soon and if your husbands Blackhorse debt is less than 50% of his total debt then he's in with a shout

It is well known in IP circles that Black Horse will not accept IVAs where their debt is more than £7,500 and/or was taken out within the last 12 months. If they represent more than 25% of your aggregate debt then this may have been doomed from the outset - but let your IP see what she can do.

Hi
it actually was refinanced within the last 12 months so not sure if that still stands as a new loan.
Hoping that will change thier minds x
looking forward to a better future

They probably view it as a new loan - but I see what you mean.

That's too bad Sharon. Perhaps if hubby does his DMP for a while, he can then try for another IVA.

This may sound somewhat callous Sharon ... but from the tone of your last post at least you're not lying down and giving up. there is always an answer even though when you hear it, it may sound a little unpalatable. All I can offer is my best wishes but please keep us posted, we all will be thinking of you.

Hiya Sharon

I am so sorry that your chosen course of action was a no go, its not the end though, there are other ways. You have done all you can to face this thing, sometimes the answers we want are not always possible, so we just have to knock on other doors until we find our own way.

Dont give up after coming so far.

Thinking of you.

At least your IP gave the case a go. Most IPs would have probably told you an IVA would not work due to the Black Horse position - but everything is worth a try!
