That's what I've asked Melanie but I've been told no way will mine go through until afterwards. They know how I'm struggling but don't want to budge. i've emailed Gemma Burton off here direct and she got back to me saying she's passed it to a Senior IVA Advisor

It is a real shame that you are left struggling and wondering what the future holds for you, when it doesn't really take that long to put a variation report together. Perhaps Gemma will be able to speed things up for you.

Hopefully melanie will pick this up. I finally managed to speak to a Team Leader from Payplan tonight who was a little more helpful than my Case Worker.

He's explained that no way can I have my full and final offer meeting before the end of Jan, beg of Feb and given me two choices as regards me struggling.

1) to stop paying and still make the offer of £3000
2) to keep paying but reduce the final offer by the 3 payments I will have made by end Jan.

I'd appreciate some advice, he thinks the best one is option 2 and says if I go with 1 and the creditors refuse it then i would have to make up the shortfall of the three months payments.

The saga goes on :(

If youy can afford to maintain payments until January, then I would agree that option 2 is the best, as you will not be incurring further arrears in the meantime. If you cannot afford to make additional payments, make sure that the eventual variation report makes it clear that your offer was submitted in November and that you should not be penalised due to delays at your IPs end.

Thanks Melanie, I know I'll struggle to make the payments but option two is the one I'm thinking of. Thanks again for your advice :)

Another post on this one with an update :(

I contacted Payplan today to ask what is happening with my full and final variation meeting to be told "Unfortunately we have not been able to book the meeting, we are currently experiencing issues with our programming which is now delaying your variation meeting.

We are working to resolve these issues as a matter of urgency and your meeting is being treated as a priority case."

So again I'm left waiting. I'm struggling to pay the money we agreed due to mainly xmas and getting a flat tyre on my car which meant i had to renew both of them.

I really believed they were going to arrange my meeting for end of January when they told me but this is obviously not the case. Any advice appreciated please, am really at the end of my tether with all of this

I really don't know what you can about this - it's out of your hands and into theirs and they are the only ones that can sort this.

You could keep pestering them - it might work!!

This really is pathetic from payplan with one excuse after another. Dont be afraid that by continuing to hassle them it will end badly. Keep pressing them even if it has to be done openly on the forum.

No need for such delays at all.

I know how you feel as I am currently trying to sort out a full and final with them. Sent my stuff off and waiting for them to contact me. I will do a virtual 'nag' with them if they don't sort me out soon!!

Hi tj40, I still have your original emails and I am really sorry that you haven’t got any further with your variation meeting, I can understand how frustrated you must be. I am looking into this as a matter of urgency and someone will be touch as soon as possible.

Please bear with me, I will do all that I can get to the issue resolved.

Many Thanks
