spoken to payplan this evening, they cant help because our two main creditors NR and cticard wont work with them. I am talking. to melanie's team tomorrow and praying that they they can help. Have been looking at sell and rent schemes and was wondering if anybody had had any dealings with this.It would be the last resort but better than losing everything in bankuptcy.

HI Chezzy

welcome to the forum, i havent had any dealings with sell and rent back but i have read bad press about them, like buying your house and then charging high rent or defaulting on payments themselves just to get you out when they want to sell, be careful dont rush into anything just because you feel its your only option, i think your in safe hands with Melanie maybe she will be able to advise you,

hi chezzy and welcome!

sorry i cannot give you any advice but i can tell you that melanie is our ip and she will do the best she can for you!

as for the buy back schemes i think alot of the time they pay quite a bit below market value!

i know it is hard but try not to worry, you have at least faced your problems now and are taking steps to get things sorted!

good luck and keep posting to let us know how you get on!

love barb x

I know of a reputable company that offer sale and rent back and would be happy to put you in touch with them if you wanted to have an exploratory chat. It is not for everyone, but in the right circumstances it may be the only way to keep your home - and you therefore do need to ensure that you deal with a reputable company who give you the opportunity to buy back in the future if you are able.

Cheers guys, I have been watching this site for the last couple of weeks, and It has given me the push to own up and admit that we are sinking fast. I know that it wont be easy but it does help knowing that we aren't on our own.
