Good luck on Wednesday, it'll certainly help to have family on board, and once you've secured a decent IVA you can start 2008 on the road to a future free from debt.

belated best wishes for your birthday and Happy New Year...

Martin

Most of us have been or still are in similar situations to you so we can understand the desperation you feel. You will always get honest answers and a sympathetic ear from this forum, no matter how many questions you ask.
Hope you had a lovely birthday.

well my birthday was ok had the hubby ands kids so they mean more right now yes there is desperation in our house and fear of what lies a head but anything got to be better than the last few months . i woke up this mornihg thinking just one day at a time trying to put brave face on and not spill everything onto the children and family that have not been in this situation before is extremly hard when all you want is a talk or shoulder to cry on. i have tryed to put figures on paper today although that i find very hard its got to be done getting ready for the storm tomoro but its all in black and white ready for them to see the only way forward is to try for iva.does any one know what iva will want of me in the way of proof of earning i have it all written down in ingoings book but do i need to get statements from bank before they take my accounts. kind regards to all

An IP will need to see copies of your most recent payslips, details of any benefits you are entitled to, bank statements, creditor statemets of acccount and loan agreemenets your mortgage or rental statement, and a property valuation if you are a property owner. Depending upon your circumstances there amy well be other information required, so do take specific advice on this point.

Lots of people in IVAs use ebay for buying clothes and selling them back. There is no problem with this providing they are only small ammounts you are making. Any large ammounts would be classed as income.
Hope this helps
