would someone offering to give me £450 a month be a case of papering over the cracks here?

do you mean to help with your debts?? Rather than going for an iva??
Discharged today the 8th feb 2012. View is much brighter now.

I am sure I have seen something on here that if someone is gifting you the money, then it is ok.

You certainly do need to cut up the plastic though!
