Hiya all

My lovely son got a girl pregnant, they both went to the same wedding and well it happened.

Anyway its taken some time for me to come to terms but he has been quite excited from the start. The baby is a boy so no chance of inheriting my lovely genes. Now the family live up north but we have all met and had meals and we all clicked straight away. I really like them all. The girls parents are quite elderly and she is turning to me for support. So there you all are, I am going to be a Nanny, never thought it would happen but he is going to be loved so much. I cant wait, he will be born on 4th August, his mom is suffering from gestational diabetes so he is a little bit early but nothing to worry about. (my daughter was 6 weeks early and fine). So she asked me to help out but I cant take him for two weeks at new born, I think he should be with his mommmy anyway. He is coming by ceaser, I had my last one like that, she is very scared but I have tried to reasure her. My son has been buying little things for him and I am very proud of the way he is coping. Although I have had a fair time to get used to the idea I am so excited to be a nanny, I really couldnt see it ever happening. I cant wait for him to be born now, I love him already. I am going up north for the birth and I am so very happy.

Love to all
LILY

That's lovely news Lily. Not long to wait now either.

My daughter was a C section, epidural. I never felt a thing!

Thanks everyone, cant wait to see him, I was really upset at first, I didnt want anything to be wrong with him but I am assured nothing can be passed on to him via my son as only a girl of his could be a carrier. I wouldnt want them to face those kind of challenges. I so want him to be OK, I really want this so much, so prayers for this for me please?? I would be so happy.

OOOh I hope I can still cope with a newborn.
