o what lovely news Lily im sure everything will be fine and you will make a fab nan, enjoy every moment its your turn now to be able to spoil them rotten with kisses, cuddles and attention and then be able to hand them back to mum and dad and leave them deal with the tantrums, my mum does it to my little cherub she has so much attention from her that when she comes home to me shes a little monster for a while [}:)] but i wouldnt want it any other way, thats what nans are for.

lovely news rb

Thanks guys

You are joking, jp. How on earth would you cope with only 3 days notice? I was just worried about the genes passing down but I dont need to, I will just be glad after his safe arrival. its brought out the very best in my son to be honest, he is aspergers but very high functioning. Going to uni in Sept. He has been working at sainsburys on the tills, buying little things for his baby, its so lovely. At the meal a couple of weeks ago when I met the girls parents, he gave her a baby monitor, some little Villa socks and boots, so sweet. So I think they will be OK, they arent together but they will do their best for their baby with our help. Her father is jewish and lost all his family in the holocaust so family is important to him, he is a lovely man and her mom is too. Much older than me so I will help out all I can, I will enjoy it to. Its the making of this year. There is a lovely atmosphere, everyone is so happy.

Thanks you guys, I really appreciate your lovely words.

Love

nanny lily.
