Hi all. I haven't been on here lately to post, but i read the forum regularly, it's been such a great help over the last five years.
I have received an email saying that we don't owe anything on the annual review, which is brilliant.
But there is no mention of what to do next. We were told that we had no equity to release, so no need to extend. We made our final payment on 12th September.
Do I cancel the direct debit? Does anyone know what happens next. Any advice would be great please.
Check with your IP that there are no payments outstanding ( to make sure you both have the same end date in mind). Then you can cancel the DD. Shortly you should receive your final report and completion certificate ( can take up to 6 months -- sometimes longer, more often faster) ... then you will be officially debt free. Have a read here:
Here's hoping your last payment has gone and you can cancel the DD. Hopefully your closure certificate will not take too long to come through, in the mean time enjoy yiur new debt free life.

Well done on reaching this milestone. Life only gets easier now. We have learnt from our previous mistakes and never returning to those dark days. Good luck with the future, take care.
Hiya
Congratulations to getting to the end #128077;
Can I just ask did u have to complete an I&e? Hubby's last payment is this month and credit fix have advised that he doesn't have to, just wondering if that's correct
Hi. We have 4 payments left & had to fill in an i/e last month. Just got confirmation our payments haven't changed. But last year they didn't request an i/e?
Received letter from creditfix 14th September (his review date is 14th Nov, although since being with c/f I have always had to contact them about the reviews)
As it didn't mention anything about the final payment etc I emailed them, and got this reply. I've gone back to query this as I thought the last payment was Oct
I refer to your mail below and write to advise that there's no need to return a new I&E form for review as your last payment is due this November.
Also, be informed that no I&E review is required to close your case.
