Hi all,
I just received my completion certificate today (Yipee) My Last Payment was in May 2011.
How long will the IVA be on my credit file is it a year? and if so s it a year from the last payment or from the completion certificate?
Thanks in advance
Dave

Excellent news, really pleased for you.

Your IVA will remain on your credit file for six years from the date of acceptance. You will need to check all credit agencies to make sure there are no defaults registered after the date of acceptance. If so then write to those creditors enclosing a copy of your completion letter and tell them to remove the defaults.

Great news.

Assuming May 2011 was the 5 year point your 6 year penance will be up this coming May! Make sure all of your default dates are on or before the beginning of your IVA and it will soon drop off of your files.

Congrats.

But what bad service yet again by an IP provider, that's nearly 8 months to issue something that can be done in weeks. Any windfall in that period would have to been passed on to your IP provider and lost to you.
Last Payment - November 2011 - Completion Certificate received 2 weeks after last payment, Removed from Insolvency Register within 4 weeks after last payment.
