Road tax should not have been put down as maintenance but as a separate allowance in its own right. Bear this in mind at the time of your next review, and show the supervisor evidence of the amounts you have spent on the car over the last year when you seek an increase.

Hi Jinx,

First, well done for getting through 30 months, I kn0ow it's not easy, and from personal experience, how often it's the cars that knock the wind out of the sails from time to time....

As Melanie says it's probably worth asking your IP for a variation if things are really tight, and re-work that I&E before the next review. You should have a separate allowance for each of your costs and it's important all your costs are captured....including some allowance for activity between working and sleeping.... Hope things get easier for you,

Best wishes

Martin

Hiya, I'm already 32 and only six months in! so am definately skint and boring! Think of this as character building, we'll be so rich and interesting by the time it's done! (hmmm think I may be trying to convince myself not you) Wonder what's on TV tonight, I'm not far from Manchester and it's too b***** windy to go out anyway!!x

Chorley - Not as exciting as the big smoke, so less distractions to spend money on, although The Trafford Centre is dangerously close! Not got xbox but do find the wii a good diversion, especially battering people on boxing to take out my frustration at not being able to buy things!

Ah bless! You'll soon be back on form! (32 is the prime of life - honest!)
Hilbilly? Cheers pal (not a Chorley born and bred!) Come from somewhere much more exciting really! Fast cars and fast women are overated - what you need is a moped and a women who enjoys a stroll in the a park followed by half a lager and a packet of cheese and onion!

Hi,
Spooky! I'm also 32 and in Chorley, hope there's not something in the air - I too find the lure of the Trafford Centre hard to resist!

Too early for a drink in front of the TV? Well, i'm going to anyway!

Cheers!
