Hi, not sure on this but will bump up for another poster/expert to comment on. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Hi Mark, there is nothing to stop you claiming. However, Barclays might retain the monies to offset against your old debt, they might insist on paying it to your old IP, and it will be distributed between your old creditors (or the IP might just return it to you).
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

You would be wise to check with your former IP s to whether the PPI mis-sellng claim would constitute an asset of the arrangement in the event that your claim were to be successful. If it is, then the closure of your case will not stop the monies being rightfully claimed by the IP if they choose to pursue the matter.
