Hi everyone still reading everyday - just about to reduce payments on self managed DMP due to circumstances so am expecting a barrage of creditors calls. Does nayone know if creditors will communicate by e mail rather than by phone as I would prefer this as daughter and partner living with us at the mo and the phone cals are embarrassing and not easy to answer!!

You can ask them, but they will probably still phone.

I always used to tell Mercers that I would only deal with them by mail, but I still used to get loads of calls every day.

I doubt it - their "modus operendi" is to harass until the legislation is beefed up. However you can try by writing to them requesting fututure communications by email only - see what happens.

Hi
I would guess that they will not discuss an account via email as it will be confidential info and may fall into a third parties hands.
