Ive been in talks with central capital and they have now agreed with my creditors i will need to pay 429.51 per month back on my IVA- I feel this is to much?
I have a debt of 23,000 but cant afford no where near this- my original proposal was I pay 229 per month
however my creditors have modified it and wont accept anything less than 429
I dont know if i'm been ripped off or not? Ive had my 3rd meeting and simply cant afford it
If im not happy with this IVA- am i able to pursuit one with another company? I really dont know what central capital are like I didnt really research and took the first service which was offered to me
If you have not signed with these people then yes you can try other IVA providers. I would recommend you go on to www.iva.com to check the various reviews but Melanie Giles who posts on here is highly recommended.
An IVA should be affordable to yourself and not unaffordable - and therefore likely to fail. Is Bankruptcy an option for you - do you have assets??
I have never heard of this company at all so have no idea what they are like.
As Ray says, you can try another company, and I agree that you should visit the site he recommends.

The greatness of a man is not in how much wealth he acquires, but in his integrity and his ability to affect those around him positively.

I have never heard of this firm - are they insolvency practitioners? This seems an awfully large increase, which suggests that there are irregularities with the proposal in the first place.
Do not accept the modifications if you cannot afford the payments - and at this stage it might be worth getting a second opinion.
What is the name of the insolvency practitioner who is currently acting as your nominee?
Melanie, Debtbuster was one the "no chance" ones - when I asked to speak to an IP to ask him/her they told me they have a panel of IPs and could not tell me which one I would be referred to if I had a case - which I did not!
