s544 I had a lot of calls from RMA on behalf of MBNA and each time told them that I was not prepared to pay them unless I could pay them all which I couldn't, and based on what mickyboy has said I'm so glad I didn't. I used the choose to refuse BT service to cut my calls down and also removed my numbers from my online accounts, that appeared to change the calls from RMA calling to MBNA themselves calling.
Good luck, we're all here for you.
Approved 3rd June 2009 first payment made on the day.

76.5k debt creditors:- Northern Rock, MBNA, Barclaycard, LloydsTSB and Capital One
MBNA chased me the hardest tele2002. They consistently called asking for payment, or advising that i went on the debt plan, even if my IVA was accepted. According to them, i could do both. I explained the laws of the land to them and told them i could not prefer them to my other creditors. The other thing with RMA was, picking up the phone and no one being on the other end. I think some of this is just done to annoy people and consistently harass people.
If i remember correctly, your started your IVA process not long after me. I am glad all went well.
My worst one was Mercers, without a doubt. However, I never answered the phone, or returned their calls until the IVA was approved. I even changed the ring tone on my mobile to that of my text messages so that people at work wouldn't know it was a phone call!
They used to write threatening me with debt collectors as well - not that they ever materialised!

It is strange really as i had Barclaycard as a creditor. I did not pay the bill for 3 months yet they never passed on the debt to Mercers.I am glad they did not as they seem to be in the same mold as RMA, maybe even worse, going by some of the stories on here.
However i do miss my 4 daily calls from Natasha in India.
Natasha? I hate the way they use English names in overseas call centres. Why not use your own and admit that you are in India? The accent is a bit of a giveaway.
Barclaycsrd passed mine over after I had missed a couple of payments (I think I missed 4 in total) and they were horrendous. Fortunatley, as we have broadband talk, they didn't have that number, so we just used to unplug the other phone and I would check it every day just to see who had called!
I even had 1571 removed from that one so no one could leave a message!

Maybe i was on the edge then of getting passed over to Mercers, i am glad they did not.
After watching "Mumbai Calling" i really have a laugh about "Natasha Calling". As you say, why not use their own name as we can all tell that is where they come from.

Barclaycard were one of my creditors and they never passed my account to Mercers either. In fact they were really godd - they phoned me once, I explained I was proposing an IVA and they said they would put my account on hold, which they must have done as I never heard from them again.
On the subject of names, James from India hasn't phoned me recently trying to find me a better deal on gas and electricity!
