I used to think that as well and couldn't get to the cashpoint quick enough each day until I had cleared it out!

Recovering -are you not registered for online banking ??? - as LLoyds is one of the many that do Fast Transfers - as long as you have your new account number you should be able to do this. Saves hanging around the cashpoint - transfer limits vary from bank to bank

Banks day's start at midnight as that is when our BACS transfers for money used to go in on the day I got paid.

That's good news. Don't feel guilty. It's your money

I just rang co-op bank i was going to set up the emergency account Mel advised me to, they said I am eligible for a better account than the cashminder I opened last week, I'm not sure whether this is a good thing or not? I made an excuse and ended the call, not sure what to do now

It is up to you whether or not you go for the better account, as you're pre IVA you may very well be accepted for it.

If not, then the Cashminder is fine.
