well i emailed mel and she always seems to reply really early in morning so if i wait til then its not going to delay anything as its sunday!

IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

I don't know timescales on any of this but i have only missed 1 payment to each creditor so far

I am where you are now, getting new bank account, seems they ask some awkward question regarding credit cards past credit history etc.havent contacted cashminderwith co-op yet, got applicaton going on with hsbc, natwest to name a few nat west looks promising only got to go to branch with my id proof .dont be scared keep trying something will work somewhere, like were not the first.

Don't touch HSBC with a ten foot bargepole. They are not iva friendly and even if the give you an account they will close it when your iva is accepted. They trawl the insolvency register.

just opened my new a/c with Natwest, all done on line.
ask for passport or diviving licence number.
had cheque book and card within a week.
IVA now over with and it was worth it.
now starting my life again,

yeah , put in my driver number, but they couldnt verify my identity so sending me paper work or something.

kev, looks like you've opened a current account if they have sent you a cheque book as you dont get one with a natwest basic account, there no overdraft either.
