hi Recovering, you might not feel it but you're doing well.
this stage really made me ill, i couldn't sleep, panic attacks, came out in a rash, upset tummy, when i did sleep i'd wake in a sweat with nightmares about the debt.
we got some very threatening letters saying they were going to send someone out to the house, threats about BR, the stress was so constantly high.
you're right, things always seem much blacker in the middle of the night when the whole world bar you seems to be sleeping. if you get low the Samaratins are always there - rang them once or twice myself, it helped.
You will get there,you're not alone,hang in there,hug x
Nothing stays the same...everything changes..hang on in there!
I have received loads of letters over the past week. Felt sorry for the postman one day as he had to put them through the letterbox in 3 separate batches - default notices and also debt collection agencies. Try not to worry Recovering although I know that is easier said than done. There are many of us in exactly the same boat as you. Take care x

I'm in the same position as you- have made a vow to try and not worry as it won't achieve anything- telling myself I need to be stronger than I've ever been at the moment and try to keep it together because if I fall apart it won't help anyone or anything
so many people in the same situation I had been feeling like the only one! I had been feeling so much more in control, I think it was just coming home at midnight and seeing all the post ( have begun to recognise the bad post)so was going to deal with them all after a nights sleep! I opened 1 I thought was ok as it was in a yellow envelope so was stunned when I realised what it was.hope we all get over the line soon

IVA now over with and it was worth it.
now starting my life again,
You're fine to spend the money; however, I think all us who have been where you are would recommend saving as much as you can for a contingency fund! It will really help later and will also get you into the habit of living to a budget!
your making sense, but what you owe the creditors will go into the IVA.
Dont go over the top on presents, get some little its that all you can do.
I have talked with both my sons about presents, both said the same. we have you Dad what more could we need.
