Try not to worry about the mail. I would take a deep breath and either open it and scan it to the IP or post it straight off to the IP, because you are dealing with your financial difficulties, so maybe you can just look at it and think this is going to be under control.

I amsure their are posters on here that have felt the same about these types of letters, and will probably be able to give you better tips on how to deal with it.

I have put in an envelope with others to post to my administrator,? from advice on here it seems to be the norm but I start shaking when i get them,It seems like I don't "do" anything? I have been told to just pass everything on but it doesn't feel good

I know what you mean. I used to do that when on my DMP, but hopefully on the IVA I believe they do stop, so this is definitely better for stress levels !

I must admit, I do occasionally feel sick when I get the post from my post box, but am very surprised when I have none !

Yep, I'm at the beggining if my IVA, and I have been sending bits over and calling just to see how it's all going. Once they have your IVA application, authority to act and all your creditors details, they should get in touch with them directly on your behalf to let them know you are going down that route, so should stop trying to contact you, but lots of more experienced posters on here have mentioned that some creditors do send post still, but I'm not sure which ones do it the most !

yes I have sent everything and answered all the questions i was asked, the only thing i couldnt do was house valuation the estate agent just ignored my request for a written quote so have asked for a drive by valuation to speed things up. people on here have told me the letters still come and to just pass them on, and they obviously have more knowledge than me. I am just worried i will jeopardise the IVA by doing nothing

Don't worry recovering - your IP will deal with all of this for you.

Letters and phone calls will continue but you won't jeapardise your IVA at all. I ignored all of my calls and letters, didn't make any payments and had no problems being accepted.

I found the valuation a problem too, but got that sorted in the end.
As mentioned above, try not to worry. I'd say don't think about it, but mine is on my mind every day !

Why do you think that you won't be accepted ? I'm not worried about it, as any IP would only put your case forward if they thought it would be accepted, otherwise it's wasting both yours and their time.

recovering - your feelings are entirely normal and we've all been there.

Your IP would not be putting forward a proposal if they did not think it would be accepted.

I am sure you will have no problems at all.

echoing others thoughts - your IP will only put you forward for an IVA if they feel it will be accepted.

Stay positive - not long to go now.
